Jerome Kahaiali’i is an HI based self taught musician and production engineer. His love for many different genres of music has influenced his signature style which stems to the core of roots and dub music. His musical style and influences are inspired by Sly & Robbie, The Scientist, Mad Professor, Aswad, and the Roots Radics.

Born and raised on the island of Maui, surrounded by a family of musicians, Jerome fell in love with music at a young age. Starting out with the keyboards and over his career, teaching himself how to play other instruments, he has found his true life passion. Later finding love in production. Jerome believes that music is more than sound, it’s a feeling, it is a way we perceive our lives, making the abstract more concrete.

Now a proud father of one beautiful girl, Jerome is a stay at home dad and has the time to work on his craft. He strives to inspire his daughter to be as creative as she can and hopes to inspire others to not be afraid to express themselves.
